In November and December, warehouses, ports and carriers run at full capacity. Goods that arrive late are not available when demand peaks. Plan replenishment so that your stock is received and booked in before the peak weeks – especially for shipments from Türkiye or Asia with longer transit times.
Bundles, labels, inserts or gift sets should be prepared before the high season starts. Special work in the middle of the peak slows down standard order processing.
Many carriers apply peak surcharges in the last months of the year and publish last shipping dates for delivery before Christmas. Build these into your prices and communicate the deadlines clearly in your shop and on marketplaces.
Realistic delivery times protect your seller ratings. On Amazon, Kaufland and other marketplaces, late deliveries in peak season have a direct effect on visibility. Check stock synchronisation and handling times before your campaigns start.
Returns from Christmas orders typically peak in January. Agree with your fulfillment partner how returns are inspected, restocked or set aside – so resellable goods quickly become available again.
